This is sooo important when it comes to choosing future partners. We are such visual creatures, so it’s so easy to go for looks and to be swayed by them. But it’s so crucial to be able to pin point the things you value in a partner, and to not deviate from it. We need to be able to also cultivate those traits in ourselves as well.

I need better help with this for sure. I met my partner of four years on Instagram, and was definitely blown away by how attractive he was. But as I got to know him, I realized that who I thought he was (My first impression) and who he actually is, are two completely different people.
